Job Description

The Site Project Manager will be assigned to a specific Client contract.

Your responsibility is to ensure outstanding service delivery to the high satisfaction of the Client; and efficient operational delivery.

This will primarily be achieved through (i) effectively managing human and technical resources allocated to the contract; and within project budgets; (ii) ensuring an energetic, responsive, solution-oriented approach to delivering risk mitigation on the Client site; and (iii) developing and maintaining positive, effective and proactive working relationships with key Client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the service levels and key performance indicators to highest levels.
  • Developing Service time-line requirements and managing interdependencies.
  • Attending works and shutdown planning meetings.
  • Overall service management and work planning.
  • Being a Point of Contact (POC) for the Company’s responsible personnel in the execution and planning/scheduling of the Services.
  • Continuous improvement of the service delivery and service level to minimum maturity levels.
  • Managing the Service Provider’s and the Company’s risk registers.
  • Working as a minimum to the Company’s HSE policies and procedures. More restrictive measures, upon approval from Company can be implemented/ proposed.
  • Attending the Service Provider and appropriate Company safety, operational meetings.
  • Conducting investigations into service provision, of the HSE and security issues.
  • Identifying and escalating risks and/or defects to Company’s Security Management.
  • Providing technical advice to Company’s Security Management around the Company’s people, equipment, and assets to protect

Qualifications

Essential qualifications and skills include 3 or more years in the armed forces or law enforcement, 4 or more years in private security operating in a high-risk environment, working knowledge and understanding in mining and security operations, and proficiency in English and French. 

A working experiencing in DRC in preferred. 

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership qualities, high energy, be a resourceful problem solver and a good communicator. 

Additional Information

The role offers a competitive salary and will be unaccompanied on a 9 week on and 3 week off pattern, subject to operational requirements.
