We are seeking an exceptional Kitchen Leader to support the culinary team in excellence. This is a rare opportunity  representing two respected brands, delivering an outstanding food experience that reflects innovation, quality, and attention to detail at every level.

Job Description

  • Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
  • To ensure food safety compliance including any allergen, temperature checks and administration is completed.
  • To be responsible for a specific area or food offering, with flexibility to rotate to a new area if needed.
  • To organise deliveries, checking delivery notes, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • To support the management in the delivery of weekly stock variance targets and food cost.
  • Ensure all dishes and menu items are produced consistently in line with the specifications.
  • To carry out daily team briefings and assist with any team queries.
  • To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
  • To work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and serving food and drinks.
  • To assist with the development of the team, providing training where required, especially on the areas of the food and beverage service, supporting management in the delivery of labour effectiveness targets.
  • To attend all training and development course as requested.
  • To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour appearance and knowledge.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
