Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Events Coordinator to join our team based at an investment company in the city.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to clients, working closely with colleagues across investment management, financial planning, and operational teams.
This position is ideally suited to an individual who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, client service, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to investment management, financial planning, and operational teams to ensure the smooth delivery of client services.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and client engagements, including scheduling, logistics, room bookings, and resource management.
- Manage team calendars and ensure effective coordination of internal and external meetings.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party service providers to support day-to-day operations.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute documentation, reports, and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
- Support the organisation and delivery of client and corporate events.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure information is managed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with operational processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders while upholding company values and standards.
Hours: 40 hours per week with shifts from Mon-Fri. Varying shifts between 7.30am and 10:30pm.
Salary: £34,000
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an events coordination and administrative office support role, ideally within a corporate or hotel environment.
- Experience supporting meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, and resource coordination.
- Experience managing calendars, booking meeting rooms, and coordinating facilities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience using office management, administration, or event coordination systems.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and service providers.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information.
- A proactive, positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
