Holroyd Howe, Winchester house school are looking for a FOH Supervisor to join the team.

We are currently seeking a professional, proactive, and service-driven Supervisor to join our dedicated team at our private boarding school in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality and an eye for detail.

Job Description

Salary 13 PH x 37.5 hours 1

11am - 7.30pm ( 8 hours plus 30 minutes unpaid break)

Working 5 days Monday to Friday term time only (170 days - 165 working days and 5 inset working days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the catering serviced, ensuring smooth service across the dining rooms and BOH areas.

  • Lead and motivate staff to maintain high service standards and member satisfaction

  • Assist in staff training, scheduling, and performance monitoring

  • Ensure the school maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

  • Support the management team in implementing policies and enhancing service offerings

  • Oversee events

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a catering environment

  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Flexible availability as may involve some weekends
