Searcys are looking for a Barista to join the team at Church House.

Church House is a Grade II listed multi-purpose event and conference venue, located in the heart of Westminster; it has a long and rich history interspersed with notable links to royalty, Parliament and the Second World War.

We're looking for a Barista who will play a role in our food & beverage. This isn't just about brewing coffee; it's about crafting unforgettable experiences for our clients. Working as a Barista for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver services that creates lasting memories.

Job Description

Job Type: Zero hours (Monday to Friday day time)

Salary: £14.80ph

Key Responsibilities:

  • To help set up the coffee bar, ready for each service
  • To help with any clearing and general cleaning duties
  • To check and put away any food and beverage after service
  • To ensure wastage forms are completed
  • To restock the fridge for the next day
  • To ensure all labels and prices are correct
  • To work on tills and following the Searcys cash handling procedures

Qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person.
  • Good listening & verbal communication skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
  • Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
