Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to contribute their expertise to our kitchen for 46 weeks per year.

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your speciality section
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the required standard and presented in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff within your section
  • Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the kitchen team

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognised institution
  • Current Food Safety Certification
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment and tools
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead junior staff
  • Creativity and passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required
  • Specialisation in a particular area of cuisine (e.g., sauces, pastry, fish) is desirable
  • Commitment to working 46 weeks per year in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom
