We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for two Chef de Partie (CDP) roles at Radley College, a prestigious boarding school near Abingdon. These positions are full-time, 52-week contracts with straight shifts (either 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM), offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the preparation of approximately 2,500 meals per day, ensuring speed, efficiency, and quality in a volume catering environment.
• Support the delivery of high-quality hospitality for events and functions at the College.
• Work collaboratively within a team of 14 chefs, reporting to senior members such as the Executive Chef, Head Chef, and Sous Chefs.

• Proven experience in volume catering with the ability to balance efficiency and creativity.
• A flair for hospitality and a willingness to develop this aspect of your culinary skill set.
• Reliable transportation due to the College’s location.

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and best practices in hygiene and safety.
• Creativity and flair for producing high-quality dishes, with the ability to adapt to both large-scale catering and hospitality needs.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to thrive in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• A relevant culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) is preferred but not essential if supported by strong experience.
• Flexibility to work a 5/7 shift pattern and reliable transportation due to location.
