Job Description

Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Waiter /Waitress to join our team and play a key role in creating a wonderful dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exceptional Service: Provide attentive and personalised service to ensure a flawless dining experience to our guests.
  2. Menu Knowledge: Know our menu well, including ingredients and cooking techniques, to help guests with their choices.
  3. Presentation: Serve dishes with style, pour wine accurately, and create memorable dining moments.
  4. Teamwork: Work well with your colleagues to ensure a smooth service.
  5. Upselling: Recommend featured items, drinks, and wine pairings to enhance guests' experiences.
  6. Stay Cool: Handle high-pressure situations calmly, professionally and refer them to the line manager, if necessary.

Hours per week: 45

Qualifications

  • Leaving Cert level education or above
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to display a real passion for food, beverage and customer service
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Hands on and proactive approach
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management
