We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.

Working alongside the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the food offer and kitchen team to create amazing experiences every day for our pupils. Cooking with fresh ingredients from scratch, this is the perfect role for a chef who wants to continue to develop their culinary skills whilst enjoying a better work/life balance.

The operation feeds 600 customers each lunchtime Monday to Friday, and breakfast and dinner for around 140 boarders 7 days a week. There is also the opportunity to provide exceptional hospitality events throughout the year

Job Description

As a Head Chef you will, as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm. Moreover, you will be able to fulfil the management side of the kitchen, looking after stock, have menu writing skills and posses the ability of your craft!

  • Have worked in a similar environment at a craft management level
  • Be a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their development
  • Be naturally outgoing and vibrant, display a real passion for food and customer service
  • Have excellent Health & Safety knowledge
  • Be financially astute and have strong IT literacy
  • Be innovative and creative and driven by excellence
