Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Solutions Engineer to join our Tech Team. In this role, you'll work across departments to identify process inefficiencies, develop automation solutions, and maintain technical documentation. The ideal candidate will combine technical development skills with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis & Improvement

    • Conduct thorough assessments of existing workflows across departments to identify inefficiencies

    • Facilitate process mapping workshops with stakeholders to visualize current workflows and identify improvement opportunities

    • Design streamlined processes that leverage technology to reduce manual work and eliminate bottlenecks

  • Solution Development

    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and automation solutions

    • Develop scripts, applications, and integrations to automate repetitive tasks

    • Implement API connections between systems to enable seamless data flow

    • Create customized dashboards for monitoring process performance

    • Translate customer pain points into feature requests for engineering teams.

    • Influence product roadmaps based on real-world use cases.

    • Deliver proof-of-concepts (PoCs), demos, and technical workshops.

  • Technical Implementation

    • Deploy and maintain code across various environments (cloud, on-premise, containers)

    • Configure and optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance

    • Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure system stability

    • Implement security best practices in all technical solutions

    • Resolve complex technical issues (e.g., API failures, scalability bottlenecks).

    • Serve as the "last line of defense" for critical customer problems.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Management

    • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for all implemented solutions

    • Create user-friendly guides and manuals for non-technical users

    • Establish and maintain a centralized knowledge base accessible to all departments

    • Standardize documentation formats across the organization

  • Training & Adoption

    • Develop training materials tailored to different user groups and technical levels

    • Conduct hands-on training sessions for new technologies and processes

    • Create video tutorials and quick-reference guides for self-directed learning

    • Serve as a technical resource for questions and troubleshooting

  • Performance Tracking & Optimization

    • Define relevant KPIs to measure the success of automation initiatives

    • Implement tracking mechanisms to collect performance data

    • Generate regular reports on time saved, error reduction, and other efficiency metrics

    • Analyze usage patterns to identify opportunities for further optimization

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration

    • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across all departments

    • Facilitate regular feedback sessions to ensure solutions meet business needs

    • Act as a technical liaison between the tech department and other business units

    • Balance competing priorities from different departments

 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in software development or technical solutions engineering

  • Proficiency in deploying applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Express/NestJS, React/Angular.

  • Experience with RESTful API design, GraphQL (optional), and message queues (e.g., Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ).

  • Strong understanding of process automation principles and tools

  • Demonstrated experience designing secure, testable, and maintainable backend and frontend systems.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across departments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with business process analysis and improvement methodologies

  • Knowledge of knowledge base platforms and documentation systems

  • Familiarity with performance tracking and analytics tools

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
