Job Description

Position: Graphic Designer (Marketing)

Department: Marketing & Community Department

Report to: Marketing & Community Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Marketing Executive Talent to join our creative and strategic centralized Marketing & Community Team. With events and partnerships being key driver for our members' experience at WORQ, the talent should be skilled at digesting the concepts or ideas and converting them into a visual representation. WORQ sees graphic design as visual storytelling that informs, inspires, and engages with our community. The vision is to inspire and attract the targeted audience.

Job Description:

  • To design clear engaging graphic communications for both print and digital which include marketing/ communications brochures, website, and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed for all departments.
  • Assist to organize advertising/ communications campaigns (social media, TV, ect.), exhibitions, promotion of events, and encourages partnership. 
  • Assist to develop activation timelines to coincide with product launches, marketing promotions, ad campaigns, or brand messages.
  • Manage and facilitate video production (shooting, editing, etc)
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates to conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies. To work hand-in-hand with the team to produce the final design and ensure it is visually appealing and on-brand. 
  • Assist in conducting market research and analysis to evaluate the trends, brand awareness, and competition ventures from the graphic angle.
  • Collaborate and maintain a good relationship with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities. 
  • Assist in building and growing WORQ’s community by creating a helpfulness culture that encourages people to share opportunities and resources.
  • Any other marketing responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in Community Building or Leadership Roles in Extracurricular Activities / Associations
  • Experience in Events Management or Events Hosting
  • Experience in Graphic Design, Photography or Videography
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop)

Qualifications

Job Requirement(s):

  • Candidate to possess a Degree in graphic design, arts/ design or creative multimedia, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software
  • At least 2 years of experience is required for this position
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and listening skills
  • Self-starter individuals with a strong drive to achieve
  • Must have good communication skills and strong command of spoken and written the English language
