Job Description

We’re looking for someone who loves helping other people, and has a knack for getting things done!

As a Community Manager, your role is to build, energize, and grow the community of startups, freelancers, business owners, in every way imaginable. You’ll be connecting aspiring entrepreneurs with visionary founders, freelancers with companies looking for solutions, business owners with investors, and so forth.

You’ll be planning and hosting events that will drive conversations and spur connections, including hackathons, pitch-ins, training, and more. You’ll be finding and creating synergistic partnerships with other awesome companies, and add massive value to the members of our community.

You’ll also be showing visitors around our space, connecting them to our members, and if they are a great match for WORQ, you’ll show them how to be part of WORQ.  

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be able to:

  • Come up with awesome initiatives that entice and grow our community
  • Get the word out about WORQ and help us grow our expanding business community
  • Be our eyes and ears, find out if our members have any concerns or complaints
  • Effectively use our social media platforms to ensure that our community remains engaged
  • Organize events that are beneficial for our members and community

Bonus points if you have:

  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • A wide network of SMEs and potential customers
  • Real estate experience, especially involving tenants (e.g. malls and office rentals)
  • A sharp mind and positive attitude


  • Candidate to possess minimum a Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication 
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience is required for this position
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Having a wide network of SMEs and potential customers will be an added advantage
