Job Description

WONGDOODY is hiring a full-time Ad Operations Specialist as part of our growing Strategy and Planning team. Successful candidates will excel in day-to-day ad operations with proficiency working in third party ad serving systems, creating and implementing pixels and tracking tags, and generating reports. This position will be based in our LA office.


  • Workflow
    • Partner with media planner to execute media campaigns and to manage relationships with external media agency partners and vendors
    • Work directly with internal stakeholders across Accounts, Production, and Creative teams to align on milestone deadlines for campaign launches 
    • Collaborate with project manager to integrate media production into project schedules
    • Support media planner and external ops leads to implement tracking tags and problem-solve any coding or implementation issues

    • Quality assurance testing
    • Performance reports


  • Knowledge
    • Media planning and buying (primarily digital, but traditional knowledge is beneficial)
    • Google DCM ad server
    • DSP (programmatic ideal)
    • Media performance measurements
    • Google Analytics platform (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Experience
    • 3-5+ years relevant professional experience
      • Project management
      • Junior level Account Management
    • Min. 1-2 years in media environment (e.g., planning, buying, operations, billing)
    • Client-facing experience (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Skills
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
    • Proactive problem-solving
    • Proficiency in Excel and Keynote/PPT
    • Team-player and maintains a positive attitude in stressful situations 
    • Professionalism demeanor and solid work ethic
    • Maintain high level of productivity with minimal supervision
