Job Description
Role Summary:Lead actuarial modelling and valuation projects in the Product Governance space with primary focus on Prophet modelling, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong controls, and effective team management.Key Responsibilities:- Execute actuarial modelling and valuation projects using Prophet, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, accuracy, and SLAs.- Oversee model governance, controls, and compliance with Technical Actuarial Standards (TAS).- Review, validate, and sign off on team deliverables before client submission.- Ensure outputs meet client quality and accuracy expectations.- Guide and mentor team members; support training, cross-skilling, and backup planning.- Act as key client interface, ensuring clear communication, requirement understanding, and expectation management.- Present results and insights to client actuarial teams.Requirements:- Strong experience in Prophet modelling (mandatory) and Life actuarial valuation.- Solid understanding of Life Insurance products and actuarial standards.- Understanding of UK Market regulations - Knowledge of pricing of UL products, Model development and valuation- Familiarity of Policy Admin Systems and the guidelines adopted in maintaining and updating policy information- Should have able to demonstrate skills on IFRS, SII and other actuarial regulatory requirements.- Proven team handling, review, and stakeholder management experience.- Good communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Actuarial Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/Engineering etc.Member of Institute of Actuaries of India /Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.8-10 Years experience of working in Life Actuarial Teams in Captive/ Third party Offshoring units and Consulting companies in Actuarial Projects, Pricing, Reporting and Developing & Valuation etc. Exposure to UK Life Insurance market preferred.
