Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll / Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Techno-Functional
Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in processing, configuration, and RICFEW (Reports,
Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow). You will implement, maintain, and optimize
robust SAP Payroll solutions, ensuring accurate processing and deep compliance with statutory regulations

Core Responsibilities & Must-Haves:
• Technical Competencies (RICEF & Interfaces): Candidates must possess deep hands-on expertise in the following technical objects and connectivity protocols:
o Custom Developments: PCRs, custom REST/SOAP integrations payroll operations, and functions.
o Enhancements & Objects: BADIs, BAPIs, BDCs, User-Exits, Smart Forms, HR Forms and Adobe Forms.
o Data transfer, Connectivity & Integrations: APIs, RFCs, Web Dynpro, OData Services, host- to-host connectivity, SFTP file transfers, REST/SOAP integrations, Host-to-Host connectivity and Pre-DME, and DME configuration.
o Payroll Data: Payroll cluster, Payroll De-clustering, service activations, and backend
enhancements.
Functional Payroll Competencies:
o Payroll Processing: End-to-end statutory payroll execution (e.g., Gross-ups, tax exemptions, income tax, one-time taxation).
o Integration & Data Flow: Manage payroll posting to Finance, pre-DME, and DME processes.
o Issue Resolution: Analyze payroll logs, debug schemas, PCRs, and custom programs to resolve complex defects independently.
o Year-End Operations: Execute annual year-end activities, taxation, and statutory updates.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
o SuccessFactors ECP: Understanding of the EC to ECP framework and Point-to-Point
replication.
o Time Management: Experience with absence and work schedule configurations.
o Modern Tools: Practical knowledge of the Payroll Control Center (PCC).
o Certification: SAP Certified Application Associate in Employee Central or ECP.
o Backend knowledge on CDS Views and AMD.
