Job Description:Job Title: Senior AttorneyJob Type: Full-timeExperience: Minimum 6+ Years Post-Qualification ExperienceThe OpportunityAs a Senior Attorney, you will be responsible for managing complex commercial legal mattersand acting as a senior advisor to the business. You will leverage your extensive expertise toproactively manage legal risk, ensure compliance, and oversee a high-quality, sophisticatedlegal delivery model for WNS and kipi.ai.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Drafting and Negotiation:1. Review, drafting and redlining of commercial contracts such as Master Services Agreements,Statement of Work, RFPs and other agreements such as Partner Agreements, TeamingAgreements, customer specific vendor agreements, with specific focus on clients based inAmericas region.2. Review will include end to end legal review of contracts, including identification of issues,internal approval requirements and liaising with various internal teams to obtain relevantinputs/approvals on a day-to-day basis.3. Legal research on various topics related to general commercial matters, upcominglegislations and various privacy regulations.4. Assisting with general advisory related to contracts/ commercial matters.5. Uploading and reviewing legal documents on internal contract management tool and ensuringtimely execution.6. Working with a variety of teams, including sales, finance, accounting, marketing andoperations.Risk Management and Compliance Implementation:Proactively manage legal risk and ensure adherence to WNS contractual standards andprocesses, specifically:-Review Client and Vendor contracts to ensure alignment with governing internal guidelines.-Implement and continuously update compliance with the Group's Principles and all relevantorganizational guidelines.-Manage all insurance-related requirements as per established procedures.Cross-Entity Coordination & Escalation:Serve as a central legal point for Kipi integration matters, requiring close coordination with WNSand Capgemini (CG) legal teams.Process Standardization and Reporting:Define and standardize procedures for legal documentation and internal reporting.Team Oversight and Mentorship:Review and oversee the work and performance of junior legal associate/s. Act as a knowledgeresource and mentor to junior team members to ensure the consistency and quality of legaloutput, and guide the proposals team on reviewing documents for legal risks and compliance.Strategic Initiatives:Structure, draft, and partner on high-stakes contract negotiations independently and incollaboration with the WNS Legal SPOC and WNS Legal Leadership team.What We are Looking ForLegal Qualification and Experience: Licensed to practice law in India and in good standing, witha minimum of 6+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house in the BPO or dataanalytics industry, with a robust focus on commercial law, technology contracts, and corporateaffairs.Core Competencies: Demonstrated senior-level experience in managing and leading thenegotiation of complex technology contracts.Business Acumen: Possesses sound business sense and industry knowledge with the ability toprovide both legal and strategic business advice to management and clients.Communication Skills: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with superior drafting,analysis, negotiation, and presentation skills to articulate complex legal and technical conceptsto diverse, decision-making audiences.Leadership and Collaboration: A strong team player with a proven track record of effectivelyworking across multidisciplinary teams, driving strategic legal initiatives in dynamic, tech-drivenenvironments, and demonstrating advanced people skills in team problem-solving situations.
