GROUP MANAGER – SUBSIDIARY REPORTINGBrief Job Description: To lead the teams for Month-end close, Financial Reporting and Controllership processesKey Accountabilities/Job Responsibilities:1) Own End to End Service delivery for 2 Regions for Financial Reporting processes2) Transition of new processes and stabilization3) People Management – Lead ~ 15 resources, ensuring their training, growth and retention4) Review and Finalisation of Country/ Region/Entity level results, working closely with team 5) Single Point of contact for Client for respective Regions6) Review of Monthly financial statements, adjustment journals and annual Statutory accounts7) Support Team members on M-end, Reporting processes and ensure quality of Commentary8) Analytical review of ledger accounts, commentary on variances9) Balance Sheet reconciliations – Review and help resolution of open items10) Strong domain knowledge and able to review the work of team members11) Good communication and networking skills to be able to reach out to various stakeholders for understanding Business changes, numbers and draft commentaries12) Drive initiatives on Process improvements13) Adhere to reasonable operational requests from the management.14) Work very closely with teams across delivery locations and client15) Own and run Weekly/Monthly Governance with various client stakeholders, ensure timely publishing of Performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs)PERSON SPECIFICATIONSESSENTIAL DESIRABLEWork Experience (Mention No. of years):• The candidate should have 7+ years of Work Experience in GL/M-end, Reporting and Finalisation of numbers• Understanding of complete Trial Balance• Prior experience in service/ BPO industry • Prior experience of relevant industryKnowledge/Qualifications/ Competency:• Qualified accountants • Good Communication Skills• Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management & Essbase• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • IFRS certificationCapabilities:• Domain expertise (Accounting & Reporting)• Team Leading – can mentor and develop a high performing team• Detail and Analytical• Good communications skills• Multitasking skills• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.• Flexibility to work in different shifts • Experience in executing Transformation initiatives Special Role (Customer Specific Requirement)• Understanding of the IFRS• Experience in Capital markets • Financial service industry experience
