We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative professional to join our Analytics team within the Automation Center of Excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Python programming expertise and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes. This role focuses on designing and implementing data-driven solutions, automating data engineering and preprocessing workflows, and working with large volumes of data to uncover actionable insights and improve operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing end-to-end task and workflow automation pipelines using Python across a wide range of data sources, including both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • The candidate should have strong working experience in transforming Excel-based manual processes into fully automated Python-based processes while incorporating strong governance frameworks.
  • The person should be competent in Python programming and possess high levels of analytical skills, including data pre-processing, data engineering, data pipeline development, and automation.
  • The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, openpyxl, pyxlsb, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • The candidate should be well-versed in Python coding standards and formatting conventions to ensure maintainable, scalable, and reusable modules.
  • Experience working on Posit Workbench and Posit Connect will be an added advantage.
  • The candidate should ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.

Tools and Technology Experience

  • Mandatory experience includes Python for data processing, engineering, and automation, SQL, and proficiency with version control systems such as Azure DevOps or Bitbucket.
  • Preferred experience includes R programming, Posit Workbench, and R Shiny.
  • Experience processing large amounts of data using Big Data technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques will be considered an advantage.

Functional and Other Expertise

Relevant experience includes 5 to 8 years of experience using the Python programming language for end-to-end data pre-processing, transformation, and automation.

Educational qualification should be BE, B.Tech, MCA, or a Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics from Tier 1 institutions.
