Job Description

Band B: 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS (Must haves)

  • 7 - 10 years of overall experience in consulting, business process or software development.
  • 4+ years of building, consulting, and designing solutions, processes, automations, and applications on Power Platform (Apps & Automate mainly, Pages can also be included).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related program.
  • Developer certified in multiple modules (Primarily PL-400 and optionally PL-500 or PL-300).
  • Strong expertise in MSFT Power Apps followed by Power automate. Experience participating in designing large enterprise projects using Power Platform. Expertise with Azure cloud a big plus.
  • Been a member of Power Platform CoE or helped set up. Keen sense and appreciation of Enterprise side of Power Platform vs. Citizen Developer side would be a key.
  • Experience with the development of integrations with other major platforms such as ERP/CRM/Legacy apps etc.
  • Strong experience on Data Model, UI, APIs, components, Model Driven Apps and building apps using low code.
  • Experience with performance tuning of apps, test automation and multi-channel app creation (mobile/chat/portals etc.) is good to have.
  • Prior exposure to building POCs/POVs, estimations.
  • Able to guide/mentor/coach team members remotely or in person.
  • Excel in R&D as well as be able to product research to compare Low-Code vs. No-code platforms a must.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be willing to accept an expanded role and more responsibility as the company grows.

 

OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Previous leadership role in an IT focused consulting services company
  • Familiarity with common development languages such as C#, JavaScript, React, React Native, Angular, Swift, PHP etc.
  • Familiarity or experience with SharePoint is good, but not necessary to have.
    • PS: SharePoint customization is not same as Power Platform development experience.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) concepts as it relates to applications.
  • Low Code / No Code Development experience in other technologies like Appian, Mendix, Out Systems etc.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and other integration technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop large-scale solutions using Power Platform technology stack.
  • Create excellent solution architecture document with deep technical details.
  • Work closely with business in identifying solution requirements and key case studies / scenarios.
  • Conduct review / audit and create report.
  • Lead implementation of the solution from establishing project requirements and goals to “go-live”.
  • Participate in some of the pre-sale activities:
    • Communicate directly to potential customers if needed.
    • Develop suggestions for implementation and design.
    • Help prepare solution architecture for RFP.
    • Meet with customer representatives if needed.
  • Oversee client discovery workshops, requirements gathering, training for end users & administrators, plus development of conceptual design and architecture.
  • Create and follow personal education plan in the technology stack and solution architecture.
  • Promote the Power Platform to internal and external audience, work with internal groups to develop sales and marketing assets.
  • Work in an agile environment and lead technical team throughout all agile ceremonies.
  • Serve Lead our client’s team to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform

 

Band C:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 10+ years of overall experience in consulting, business process or software development.
  • 4+ years of building, consulting, and designing solutions, processes, automations, and applications on Power Platform (Apps & Automate mainly, Pages can also be included).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related program.
  • Architect certification “PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect”.
  • Strong expertise in MSFT Power Apps followed by Power automate. Experience architecting and designing large enterprise projects using Power Platform. Expertise with Azure cloud a big plus.
  • Experience setting up (preferred) or been a member of Power Platform CoE and should be able to drive ROI/CBA analysis. Keen sense and appreciation of Enterprise side of Power Platform vs. Citizen Developer side would be a key.
  • Experience with the solution architecture, integrations with other major platforms such as ERP/CRM/Legacy apps etc.
  • Strong experience on Data Model, UI, APIs, components, Model Driven Apps and building apps using low code. Good understanding of task automations, multi-bot architecture, screen scraping a must.
  • Experience with performance tuning of apps, test automation and multi-channel app creation (mobile/chat/portals etc.) a must.
  • Prior exposure to pre-sales; primarily around responding to RFP (Request for Proposal), building POCs/POVs, estimations.
  • Able to guide/mentor/coach team members remotely or in person.
