Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Consultant with 3-5 years of experience in both technical and HR functional spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of system architecture and be capable of designing and implementing new functionalities within the Workday platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional HR knowledge to optimize and enhance our HR systems.Key Responsibilities:System Design and Implementation:Understand and analyze business requirements to design and implement solutions in the Workday platform.Configure and customize Workday modules to meet business needs, including but not limited to HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Management.Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.Technical Expertise:Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday issues, collaborating with IT and HR teams to resolve problems efficiently.Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and configuration guides.HR Functional Knowledge:Leverage HR domain knowledge to advise on best practices and optimize HR processes within the Workday platform.Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions.Provide training and support to HR users, enhancing their understanding of Workday functionalities and capabilities.Project Management:Manage and deliver Workday projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.3-5 years of experience working as a Workday Consultant or in a similar role, with a focus on both technical and HR functional areas.Strong understanding of Workday architecture, including data models, business processes, and security frameworks.Experience in Workday modules such as HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Management.Proficiency in Workday integration tools and techniques, including EIB, Studio, and Workday Web Services.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Workday certification(s) is a plus.
