Job Description

BASIC PURPOSE:Provide timely and accurate response to assigned internal and external customers to include service requests from producers, agencies, subsidiaries, and others to support the growth and retention of business.Collaborate with underwriters to establish target dates and communicate coverage recommendations.Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations across the policy value chain (New Business, Changes etc.).Assist in reviewing documentation received for completeness and request missing information from producer.Responsibilities to include account set-up, quoting, proposals, policy issuance, policy administration requests, and account service.Document and maintain unit processes and procedures and disseminate information to the applicable team.Other responsibilities as needed.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop relationships and work within team and across departments to ensure customer tasks are completed and customer response expectations are achieved.Ensure proper initiation and completion of the underwriting process including quote requests and proposals.Initiate and facilitate renewal process in collaboration with underwriter and timely, professional communication with producer.Resolve customer service issues.Ensure proper initiation and completion of incoming requests for policy issuance and policy administration.Identify areas for improvement, with recommendations for process, procedure, or system changes. Willingness to work in shifts.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 12+ months experience. Insurance background requiredOrganizational and interpersonal skills to set priorities, manage time, and be responsive to assigned customers.Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to perform in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and high-profile customers.Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate and collaborate with internal staff and external customers.Excellent written and verbal communication, Typing speed of 30+WORK ENVIRONMENT:Professional Office EnvironmentAbility to perform work from Office and home.
