Job Description

  • Coordination of data input collection form markets/agencies (recuring).
  • Making sure the business needs are well reflected (up to date) and coherent on yearly and quarterly basis. Includes management of agency work, keeping track of scope and timely delivery, serving as business partner for the commercial teams to manage the expectations and share the knowledge.
  • Support in briefing collection -The person would act as the centre of excellence for the input collection for the standardized/recurring projects. With her/his support, the commercial teams will have the coherence across markets and categories. For more complex projects, the person would act as a first gate keeper to validate the quality of the briefs, reporting to CBIA Insight team.
  • Technical aspects of vendors management (TPO, contracts, legal & procurement support). The person would cooperate with internal stakeholders (procurement/legal) to facilitate new vendors introduction as well as legal management of existing ones.
  • Desk research & data analysis (internal & external) – the person would be asked to conduct the desk research (including internal and external data) to address the business questions and make sure that we make exhaust the existing knowledge sources before we invest into obtaining new data, focused on consumer, shopper, innovation trends.
  • Leading simple research projects – to enhance learning and as the person would gain the experience, she/he will be assigned to lead the research projects with full responsibility (starting from briefing until the final report delivery).
  • Acting as Junior Insight Manager. Cooperation with agencies and internal stakeholders – with interdisciplinary nature of the role, it is encouraged that the person would establish effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, which would help to manage the tasks smoothly and facilitate learning on the job.

Qualifications

  • MBA, M.A Economics, M.A / M.Sc. Statistics/Mathematics, B.E., B. Tech.
  • Experience in market research
  • Understanding end to end market research process i.e. from brief, questionnaire writing to report delivery
  • Coordination with markets/agencies on data collection and managing a tracker with key fields to input to the commercial teams         
  • Interface with research agencies - briefing research agencies, validate the quality of the briefs, discuss the output with research managers etc.
  • Carrying out simple Market research projects (Writing project brief, creating questionnaire/discussion guide, summarizing findings in power-point deck etc .)
  • Desk research from internal and external data sources i.e. reading and reviewing research reports to answer business questions
  • Managing database of market research projects to ensure project compliance
  • Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and spoken English, able to interact directly and confidently with multiple stakeholders.
