Job Description

  • Being responsible GL processes for our client operating in Czech, Hungary and Romania.

  • Ensure all internal deliverables are met. Internal deliverables include: Period-end close, general accounting and reconciliations

  • Month-end reporting – actuals P&L, KPI, Balance Sheet

  • Maintain general ledger

  • Fixed Asset register maintenance / depreciation

  • Maintaining lease schedules

  • Monthly standard prepayments and accruals

  • Inter-company reconciliations / revaluations / postings

  • Recharge of costs to local entities

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • FX revaluations

  • Preparation of monthly VAT returns

  • Bank statement download / coding / postings / reconciliations

  • Payment file / upload of payment files in banking system

  • Support with preparation of tax returns, financial statements and reporting

  • Support for internal/external audits, controls and investigations

  • Process mapping and creating procedures

  • Ad hoc support with general accounting

  • GL closing for Hungary and Romania

  • Handling the AP invoice processing

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in RTR/GL,

  • Czech language - min. B2/C1 or Slovak speakers with Czech language knowlegde at B2 level,
  • Good English knowledge to communicate inside the organization,

  • Decision-making skill and analytical thinking,

  • Team player and good communication skills,

  • Time management,

  • MS Office (especially Excel),

  • Managing teams up to 5 people will be an asset.
