Job Description

 If you are interested in pursuing a new career in purchasing, then this is the right place for you. Our young team in Sibiu is looking for a new colleague that will take on the role of Tactical Buyer for one of the largest car manufacturing brands in the world.

 In your role as Tactical Buyer, you will collaborate with clients and suppliers from most European Countries.

 You will be required to approach suppliers and obtain offers, analyze and compare prices while eventually deciding to whom you will place the order. 

Responsibilities:

▪ Creating and negotiating orders.
▪ Analyzing data and preparing request for quotation.
▪ Analyzing the offers and issue the comparison sheet.
▪ Actively participating in/leading negotiations with suppliers.
▪ Follow and respond to changing market price trends and availability of materials and services.
▪ Manage savings targets.
▪ Look for new suppliers on the international market.

Qualifications

Your requirements and qualifications:

  • Minimum experience in purchasing or similar supply chain field required
  • You are proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and you worked with data analytics tools.
  • You are self-motivated, team player and capable of taking on operational responsibility.
  • You are a critical thinker, with great analytical skills and a creative problem solver.
  • You have advanced English language skills, other language represent an advantage outstanding communication and presentation skills.
