Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Director with 10+ years of experience in providing Procurement (Source-to- Procure) services solutions to global customers and/or experience of leading and managing Procurement / Source-to-Procure Services with a focus on enhancing the value delivered.

Some Key responsibilities include:

  1. Lead the end-to-end RFP/ RFI process for specific deals allocated in Procurement services practice.
  2. Provide deep domain expertise in Sourcing/Source-to-Contract & Procurement Operations
  3. Provide thought leadership in latest trends/technologies within Industries
  4. Design transformative solutions leveraging digital enablers and build the value proposition to sell the solution to the client.
  5. Excel in developing strong client dialogue, at executive stakeholder level.
  6. Manage end to end pre-sales activities and liaise with cross functional teams and Subject Matter Experts like Operations, Technology, Transition, Quality, Finance, Human Resources etc. for the creation and design of solutions for prospective and existing clients.
  7. Ensure that the RFPs/RFIs response clearly articulated, in the best possible manner, WNS's value proposition and credentials to service to client's specific requirements across geos with Procurement offerings
  8. Conducting diagnostics, solution design or due diligence exercise
  9. Provide inputs develop new capabilities and enhance existing capabilities.
  10. Content development for marketing collateral i.e., case studies, competency documents, brochures, corporate and domain specific presentations for client visit, competency building, due diligence and bid meetings
  11. Identify Business Development opportunities across the value chain, build solutions framework to address these opportunities.
  12. Would be responsible for Greater Farming penetration through proactive solution development for any prospective areas of opportunity.
  13. Participation in special / strategic projects from time to time
  14. Strive towards attaining the allocated revenue targets allocated
  15. Coordinate and lead client visits and tours of facilities of the company

Qualifications

  • Min 12+ years of working experience with at least 5+ Years of experience in a Solutions role
  • Graduate/Post Graduate
  • Certification in Procurement/Supply Chain desirable
  • Strong Domain Expertise across Sourcing, Contracting and Procurement Operations (Transactional Procurement)
  • Experience in capability development/ practice development/ product development is desirable
  • Very good understanding of digital ecosystem within procurement experience in delivering end-to-end transformation projects for Global clients
  • Well versed with digital technologies and tools, automation, analytics etc.
  • Well versed with process diagnostics, blueprinting activities etc. and savvy with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Exposure to commercial models understanding relevant to Procurement/ Sourcing (e.g., cost break down sheets, business case analysis, TCO analysis, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of business processes and off-shore business environment.
  • Proven client management skills
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and multi-task
  • Analytical mindset - ability to understand customer requirements in a service industry and provide appropriate solution
  • Co-ordination and program management skills to interface with various stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication skills
