Job Description

We are looking to hire a positive, proactive IT project manager with 8-10+ years of experience to oversee project teams and to ensure IT projects are completed on time. The IT project manager will establish a Project Management Office (PMO), and direct and coordinate the utilization of resources across divisions of the project to reach targets. The IT project manager will ensure compliance with budget and other project requirements. You will document instructions for end-users and assist with the testing of the final product. You will communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project and close it efficiently.

To be successful in this role you should deliver an extensively recorded, tested, intact, and operative product within delivery time frames and budget. Ideal candidates will be analytical and have a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in establishing a Project Management Office to oversee multiple projects.
  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.
  • Implementing document control policies and documentation templates.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of assigned component projects.
  • Evaluating standards of component products.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
  • Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies.
  • This role will involve delivery of business & functional requirement documentation, SIT / UAT Testing, Release Management of required software components as per the defined timelines.
  • Perform necessary Business Analyst functions to support regional integration projects.
  • Define creative design solutions with a focus on process improvement through technology enhancements, efficient process design and automation capabilities.
  • Present complex business and technical requirements and/or information that is appropriately tailored to the target audience.
  • Perform Gap analysis and recommend technical solutions.
  • Document Functional Requirements create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts as needed.
  • Identify, document, and manage development issues and risks through resolution.
  • Oversee the development of the software as per the specifications and review that proper testing of the solution has taken place.
  • Coordinate with the onsite coordinator and client IT development lead on a daily basis.
  • Ability to create and manage knowledge base which can be utilized not only by newcomers but also by the existing team.
  • Encourage healthy competition among team members with focus on quality over quantity.
  • To guide and mentor team and embrace changes and industry best practices. To promote best practice through example and drive enshrinement. Develop excellent relationships with peers, developers, testers, and business stakeholders at offshore and onsite.
  • Exposure to US/International Client (Preferred) with Prior Experience in Project Manager roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills able to generate interest and engages the client during calls and emails.
  • Manage projects, and establish productive, professional, and profitable relationships with key personnel and clients in assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with various departments within the organization, including support, service, technology and manage resources, in-order to ensure seamless functioning of the client accounts.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary actions required and always keep the internal team updated.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule of online meetings with the client to manage performance objectives, and customer- expectations and assess customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Participate in recruitment, orientation and ongoing training of new IT staff.

    Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering/Computer Science /Information Technology

    • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
    • Good knowledge of Azure DevOps & cloud implementations
    • Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering/Computer Science /Information Technology
    • Flexible to work in shifts to maintain overlap with US working hours.
    • Flexible in working outside of core business hours at short notice.
    • Experience in software development cycle business and functional documentation.
    • Experience in conceptual and functional business process modeling.
    • Domain knowledge in HealthCare or Insurance is a plus.
    • Project Management Certification is a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Candidate with technical knowledge preferred.
