Job Description

The Procurement Platform Services Senior Manager will be a key leader to help grow our procurement platform services business.  Denali Platform Services helps our clients to optimize and get the most value from their existing technology investments in source-to-contract and procure-to-pay platforms like Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Scout, etc..  We provide pre- and post-deployment services including advisory and strategy, optimization and best practices, supplier enablement, functional project execution and change management and training.  Key responsibilities include program management for client engagements, assessing customer needs; managing project plans for Ariba, Coupa and/or iValua programs; suggesting and utilizing best practices from other client situations; ensuring quality of deployment and any escalations; and ensuring timeliness of delivery and deployment. Along with system optimization, the role includes assessing and delivering change management programs for any change opportunity the client might need. This position will be expected to use discretion in applying best practices and procedures to resolve issues, demonstrate a broad and thorough understanding and application of technical and/or specialized concepts and knowledge in procurement business process, lifecycle for sourcing, contracts and PO/invoicing.

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties

  • Act as the best practice leader to client for pre and post deployment programs and projects, including optimization, supplier enablement strategy, change management strategy and plan creation (Stakeholder mapping/assessments, Communication Plan and Training Plan), and Procurement Systems (i.e., Ariba, Coupa, Jagger) pre and post deployment services and support.
  • Respond to RFP/RFQ’s and/or participate with Sales team prospect proposals and meetings as subject mattr expert. The person will help our practice of Platform Services grow and mature, and provide leadership to the growing global team
  • Manage multiple clients and objectives.
  • Oversee and build out a centralized platform helpdesk service offering.
  • Manage a growing team of junior to mid-level resources in a matrix organization 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Ariba, Coupa and/or iValua deployment and administration. As well as an understanding of managing and operations of a helpdesk to support clients with their Ariba, Coupa, iValua needs.  Platform implementation experience a must.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of work experience in operational, procurement management, consulting capacity with 5 or more years of relevant Ariba and/or Coupa and strategic procurement experience.
  • Prior management experience supervising 5 or more people.
  • Strong leadership skills, including ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of an organization.
  • A strong team player and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to develop and implement processes across multiple procurement systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally, with client stakeholders, and the supplier community)
  • Experience in using different procurement software and ERPs.
    • Strong knowledge in Upstream and Downstream product and tools

Comprehensive knowledge of Change Management, including creation of communications and creation of training materials – eLearning, tip sheets, FAQ’s etc.
