Job Description

This job is for a Market Research Data Analytics services for multiple clients in a shared services role. The job involves research and developing insight reports as well as providing advisory to CXO level positions to help them in strategic planning for their business

Designation:

Assistant Manager: Individual contributor role (Designation depends upon skill and experience fit)

Working closely with CXO level externally and with the project lead/ manager internally to deliver various standard as well as custom market research analytic projects

Min Requirements:

  • B. Stat/M.Stat/ BSc. Or MSc. Math’s/ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics/ B.Tech /BE / MBA with 3-5 years of experience in data analytics crunching market research data to provide insights with good knowledge of statistical techniques
  • Strong understanding of market research concepts as well as techniques (preferably in healthcare or consumer goods category) and excellent understanding of business management concepts
  • High level of proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (Macros and VBA preferable)  and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to big data analytics and tools such as PowerBI, R, SPSS, SAS, Python, SQL/MySQL is an added plus but not mandatory
  • Any experience managing/coaching team responsible for delivering on quantitative analysis of market research data is preferable but not desirable for the position.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Delivering analytic projects by analysing various market research surveys conducted by the client, developing reporting tools as well as conduct statistical analysis on the market research data

·         Work with the project lead to develop analytical frameworks to draw insights from the market research data/ surveys of sample size 1k-20K+

·         Developing client ready and error free MS Excel as well as MS PPT reports generating insights to be used by stakeholders client organization

  • Provide insights  in the context of the business strategy and product portfolio and be able to present it to CXO level clients
  • Able to manage the projects  end to end with limited help from project lead
  • Develop and adopt processes to deliver projects efficiently
  • Continuously learn quantitative market research methodologies and also share with the team to enhance the value chain of services

Key Competencies

·         High Proficiency of Advanced Excel (exposure to macros and VBA will be an added plus)

·         Strong knowledge of market research data analysis techniques

·         Good exposure to statistical analysis such as Hypotheses Testing (T test, Z test), ANOVA, Chi-Square test, Cluster Analysis, Segmentation, Correlation and Regression Analysis etc.

·         Exposure to survey programming on platforms such as ConfirmIT, Decipher, Qualtrics etc. will be an added advantage

·         Exposure to big data analytics and tools such as PowerBI, R, SPSS, SAS, Python, SQL/MySQL is an added plus but not mandatory
