The Contract Associate is a member of a client sourcing service delivery team, responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing third-party supplier agreements, according to the WNS Denali client’s corporate policies and business unit procedures.  Contract Associate will support contract activity that may include client standard contract templates, new master agreements, Project work orders, changes orders, etc,  This role requires attention to detail, multi-tasking along with strong written and verbal communication skills as it is the client focal point for communication with legal, procurement, and stakeholders and other delivery team members to achieve a high quality fully executed contract. 

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

Review and prepare contracts in accordance with client policy

Defining Scope & Business Requirements: The Contracts Associate engages with the Requester and Sourcing Manager to define the Requester’s business requirements/needs for the contract.

Information Gathering: The Contracts Associate interfaces with the requester and sourcing to fill in information gaps

Contract drafting: Once the scope is defined and all requirements have been gathered, the Contracts Associate drafts the appropriate contract type using the client template

Driving contract process completion: The Contracts Associate manages each step of the process working with requesters, sourcing managers, vendors, and legal to achieve a fully executed contract

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  •  3+ years of work experience in operational, procurement or sourcing, or a minimum of 2 years of contract management experience.
  • Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Project Management preferred but not required.
