Job Description

Job Description – Deputy Manager Operations

The Operations Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations. This role also requires him/her to liaise with the clients on a daily/weekly basis and ensure contractual deliverables. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

•       Coordination and Supervision - Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various teams.

•       Graduate from a recognized university

•       Should have P & C Insurance experience on commercial and personal lines policy servicing / claims

 

•       At least 3 years’ experience in handling Voice Operations in a supervisory role with a span of at least 45-50 employees

Role will involve

•       Supervises and is primarily responsible for delivering to SLAs and schedule for tasks performed

•       Driving team performance, KPI management, reporting, taking resource decisions, absenteeism

•       Handle day to day operations with focus on performance, quality, analysis, coaching & recognition

•       Interact regularly with the clients to share updates, lead operational and project/ program level reviews

•       Responsible for client and employee satisfaction and reduce attrition by working closely with the HR, while also collaborating with other process owners and training and quality managers to share best practices and drive higher results

•       Operationally focused with solid understanding of the workflow with skills to handle client interactions

•       Should be willing to work from office in Columbia, SC whenever required

•       Work shift :  11 AM to 8 PM EST

•       He/she will handle a team that does multiple shifts, hence should be willing to work in different shifts when required

Other skills:

•       Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent people management skills

•       Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.

•       Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access

•       Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

•       Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
