Job Description

The Procurement Platform Services Leader will be a key leader to drive and accelerate our procurement platform services business.  Denali Platform Services helps our clients to optimize and get the most value from their existing technology investments in source-to-contract and procure-to-pay platforms like Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Scout, etc..  We provide pre- and post-deployment services including advisory and strategy, optimization and best practices, supplier enablement, functional project execution and change management and training.  The Platform Services Leader will drive the development and execution of a robust opportunity pipeline globally, network and build client opportunities, develop and manage sales channels via our direct sales team and partner sales channels, lead the scoping, solutioning and RFP/proposal responses, and scale our platform services business.  In other words, the leader will build a robust Platform Services business within WNS Denali’s overall Procurement Solutions business.

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

•        Experience with procurement S2C and P2P technology platforms, that include Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, iValua, Scout, Jaggaer and other leading technologies.  Platform functional and technical certifications a plus.

•        Experience and understanding of different platform service solutions from strategy, process optimization, functional configurations, supplier enablement, training and change management.

•        Lead the evaluation of client needs, perform initial solutioning and engage delivery SME’s.  Provide best practices and advise client on platform on pre- and post-deployment projects.

•        Establish, negotiate and maintain technology partner channels for Denali platform services opportunities.

•        Drive go-to-market activities with both our direct sales & marketing teams as well as technology partners to accelerate opportunity and revenue growth.

•        Support and manage implementation and delivery of platform services opportunities.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•        Possesses sound Procurement experience and technology acumen, including consultative skills, understanding of procurement processes (category management, strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, P2P), and the landscape of procurement technologies.

•        Strong client service orientation and senior level consultative and communication skills. Ability to quickly command client respect and relationship alignment in an uncertain and changing environment.

•        High degree of proficiency in procurement software and technology platforms (e.g. Ariba, Coupa).  Strong knowledge in upstream (source to contract) and downstream (procure-to-pay) products.

•        Experience with business-to-business alliances, partner management and strong negotiation skills.

•        Capable of managing multiple priorities, projects and initiatives simultaneously and meet tight, ambitious timelines

•        A strong leader and a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally and with client stakeholders)

•        Excellent problem-solving ability and a strong team player

 

Required Education and Experience

•        Bachelor’s Degree in business or technology related field; Master’s Degree preferred from top tier business school.

•        10+ years of work experience in a combination of Procurement, digital technology, sales and commercial, and client services.

•        5-10 years of experience in operational, procurement management, consulting capacity with 4 or more years of relevant procurement platform service or implementation experience (Ariba, Coupa, etc.).

Service delivery and consultative experience is a must, ideally from a top tier consulting firm, and/or BPO provider.
