The Content Administrator is the overall owner of our procurement knowledge capture and curation process, including the collection, cleansing and posting of content, and continuous improvement of this process (a Six Sigma Green Belt project to make this process more reliable and efficient is a likely early step for the role).  The Content Administrator will also own the execution of the ongoing plan to further digitize our Knowledge Assets and to make them easier for our users to access. 

This role will build relationships as a Point of Contact for client teams to better understand their needs, as well as further facilitating the flow of data, information, knowledge and insights between client delivery teams and the Center of Excellence.  Additionally, each member of the Center of Excellence team participates in answering incoming queries from our stakeholder population, and this role will primarily field these requests from the US stakeholders and time zones.  The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, detail oriented, a good communicator, and eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

  • Collect, review, scrub, centrally manage, share, maintain and control content through structured business processes
  • Constantly seek to improve these processes for efficiency and reliability; train non-COE team members to utilize these processes
  • Serve as a point of contact for client teams, building relationships to facilitate information and data sharing
  • Encourage employees to share knowledge, ensuring they are aware of the knowledge management resources available to support their work, are appropriately trained and are using the systems efficiently and productively
  • Ensure that the maximum amount of useful information is extracted from the teams through use of reporting tools
  • Maintain spreadsheets and databases that reflect team member’s experience, as well as projects undertaken (project database) and get content ready for upload into repositories including the supplier database
  • Spot-check content and run regular maintenance activities to ensure that the data quality is high
  • Help users locate content and resolve issues: monitor feedback mechanisms and route requests appropriately for resolution. Actively reach out to team members who might have desired content
  • Any other tasks / activities assigned by Content Manager

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3 - 5 years of Knowledge Management Experience
  • Process thinking and problem solving (a Green Belt project is likely)
  • Source-to-Contract procurement experience (Preferred)
  • Internal networking and relationship building
  • Analytical, information and knowledge management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills including timeline management, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to change direction as new priorities arise
  • Attention to detail and delivering quality knowledge assets
