Job Description

Role:

 

  • Leading large-scale healthcare data management and analytics programs covering sensitive and regulated patients data, insurance data, claims data, treatment/care/clinical data, medical records, population health data, regulatory compliance data, etc.
  • Managing a global team (US and India) to deliver stipulated data management, data analytics and data science projects as per agreed delivery timelines and quality requirements
  • End-to-end client management understanding client requirements, communication project status updates, coordinating between client business and technical teams in the US, and WNS delivery teams in India
  • Providing subject matter expertise to delivery teams for healthcare data attributes, predictive modeling, analytics tools, technologies and techniques, and providing functional and domain expertise on Medicare Stars Program, Population Healthcare Models, Segmentation and Stratification models for population health, Undeserved Population Diagnosis models, etc.
  • Occasional hands-on delivery for Healthcare Data Science projects, including but not limited to Statistical / ML models in Python, Designing and Developing Reports and Dashboards in Tableau and Business Objects, Model Testing and Validation, Model Documentation, etc.
  • Model Governance and Model management reviews, ensuring that agreed deliverable quality is maintained by the delivery team, continuous improvement in the delivery processes, implementing Agile or other relevant project management frameworks, etc.

Ensuring compliance to Healthcare Data Regulations, e.g., HIPAA and Patient Privacy, Data Privacy Laws, Data Security Requirements, etc. Lead the team through internal and external data privacy audits and provide reporting oversight for data privacy compliance

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

-          Must have advance university graduation in Healthcare Informatics, Public Health or Healthcare Economics or Masters in Data Analytics/Data Science

-          5 – 8 years of experience in Healthcare Informatics or Data Science, Public Health Policy Research or Healthcare Economics in Healthcare Payer, Provider or Life Sciences companies

-          Hands on experience in predictive and prescriptive modeling using Python is must

-          Exposure to HEDIS reporting, Medicare Stars program, or Claims Data Analytics preferred

-          Hands on experience in Microsoft SQL, and DOT-NET technologies for data management preferred

Experience in Data Science technologies on Cloud (AWS or MS Azure) Preferred
