Job Description

As an integral member of our Business Intelligence delivery team, the Sr. Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, Q.A. and production support of our enterprise reporting assets. Working with various departments throughout HealthHelp, you will analyze provided documentation relevant to the reporting requirements and develop the needed reports to convert SQL Data into information meeting the business needs. This may include creating Word, Excel, TSQL (fed into Excel) reports and/or leveraging Tableau Desktop to deliver such information.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Interact with Business SME's for analyzing business requirements and develop technical specifications for reporting.
•    Create mockups, prototypes and develop visualization requirements by working with business teams & users.
•    Visualize the data by working with the analytical, operations and business teams in a meaningful way that allows the business to quickly draw conclusions and make decisions.
•    Work with the Offshore Tableau development team to deploy the changes to Tableau reports in production.
•    Work with on-site software and DW development team to deploy the changes to production Tableau platform.
•    Manage and support migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards), from development to production environments.
•    Develop and format stored procedures in T-SQL. 
•    Create and manage reports & dashboards in Excel based on customer and HealthHelp standards.
•    Create and manage reports & dashboards in Tableau based on customer and HealthHelp standards.
•    Build self servicing interactive drill down reports based on customer and HealthHelp standards.
•    Power BI report development experience is a big plus. But not required.
•    Use Word to create automated letters for clients using macros, etc.
•    Identify and solve data integrity questions within T-SQL.
•    Quickly address T-SQL/Excel/Tableau issues not tied to data (formatting, aesthetics, etc.)
•    Communicate with non-technical employees to define report request and limitations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Education:    Bachelors degree in IT or related business discipline.  Relevant experience in business intelligence may be substituted for education requirement.
Experience:    Minimum of 5 years working as a reports developer with increasing roles of responsibility.

Skills:
    
•    Should have advanced level TSQL experience. MDX scripting experience is a big plus.
•    Should have excellent hands-on development experience with Tableau & Excel   
•    Should have strong Business Analyst skills to interact with Business SME's for analyzing business requirements and develop technical specifications for Tableau reporting. 
•    Should have experience on working with business teams/end users to create mockups, prototype reports, and develop visualization requirements. 
•    Tested, cleaned and standardized data to meet the business standards using Execute SQL task, Conditional Split, Data Conversion and Derived columns in different environments. 
•    Developed Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending. 
•    Generated Tableau Dashboard with quick/context/global filters, parameters and calculated fields on Tableau reports. 
•    Created Tableau Dashboards with interactive views, trends and drill downs along with user level security. 
•    Fine-tuned SQL Queries in Tableau Desktop for maximum efficiency and performance. 
•    Created Batch Stored Procedures for Tableau Server in the Report Scheduler according to the monthly, weekly or daily refresh schedules. 
•    Thorough analysis, unit testing and integrated testing with other applications of database objects before deployment to the Tableau production server.
•    A broad exposure to various Business Intelligence platforms. Position requires excellent technical and communication skills. The ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously is a requirement of this position.  Very detailed oriented.
