Job Description

Role:

The Mobilization Sr. Manager is responsible for providing leadership and orchestration for new and existing WNS-Denali Procurement Services client program implementations and transitions. This position has the responsibility to initiate a strong client relationship pre and post-sales, support transitions for existing clients that are shifting their operating model, set up outsourced and partnership programs for immediate and long term success, and deliver a stable and well-structured program that will transition to the Delivery Team to execute going forward. The Mobilization Sr. Manager follows and executes a consistent and scalable implementation methodology to address all combinations of procurement services and products, and help continuously improve the methodology and tools.

 

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

•        Serve as the dedicated point of contact for WNS-Denali during new client implementations and incumbent provider transitions, as well as existing client transitions where their operating model is shifting and/or maturing.

•        Responsible to ensure the overall success of the new client implementation, establishing consistency across our client engagements, and setting up our delivery teams for long-lasting success with the client.

•        Establish Program Management and Governance with the client, including governance model, performance management, communication, and change management.

•        Deploy and enable technology, including WNS technology assets and client technologies.

•        Drive Service Enablement and Knowledge Transfer depending on the procurement services that are in scope, including process discovery, knowledge transfer, and client engagement model.

•        Drive strong communication and co-creation with clients during implementation to ensure client satisfaction and relationship development through this formative and changing program phase.

•        Drive a globally consistent procurement services implementation and transition methodology leveraging existing WNS approaches and assets that embody both upstream and downstream procurement services.

•        Support a global team of Mobilization professionals in support of new and existing client programs.

Required Education and Experience

•        Expertise in project management (MS Project) and process mapping (MS Visio) tools and methodologies.

•        Bachelor’s Degree in business or technology-related field; Master’s Degree preferred from top tier business school

•        8+ years of work experience in procurement and client services

•        Service delivery and consultative experience is a MUST, ideally from a top-tier consulting firm, BPO provider.

•        Sound overall understanding of procurement and procurement domain expertise at practitioner/service provider level, including category management, sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and procure-to-pay functions.

•        Strong client service orientation and senior-level consultative skills. Ability to quickly command client respect and relationship alignment in an uncertain and changing environment.

•        Ability to lead simply to complex client transformations and new program implementations; Has demonstrated client program leadership and ability to orchestrate client and internal resources to a successful outcome.

•        Detail orientation and process development capabilities including process discovery and process mapping and process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)

•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally and with client stakeholders)

•        Excellent project and process management skills including project planning, time management, budget management, risk management multitasking, and ability to orchestrate various client and WNS resources and functional groups to a single path and successful outcome.

•        A strong project leader and a team player

•        Excellent problem-solving ability

•        Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

•        Ability to travel to support mobilization efforts – 50%+ required (including some global travel), depending on the timing of client engagements
