SENIOR ANALYST / Assistant Manager

The resource would work with onshore procurement team to support various research related projects through conducting market research specifically on the insurance industry and also across other markets. In addition, the resource would be required to conduct competitive analysis to support stakeholders understand competitive landscape analysis on key market players in specific geographies


§   4-6 years of experience in market / business research with exposure to multiple industry verticals, and specifically in insurance sectors.

§   Should have understanding of financial statement analysis along with project management


Conducting market/industry assessments which involve:

§   Identifying key trends, industry drivers, market shares, margin and cost model, track companies within the target industry and competitive analysis using Porter’s Five Forces, STEEPLE, etc.

§   Report writing involving data representation through graphs/charts/tables, interpretation and analysis, writing executive summaries and providing key insights and recommendations

§   Extensive secondary research and applying the outcome to arrive at conclusions/solutions for the client’s request – especially through publicly available sources

Conducting financial assessment of corporate in order to check the financial stability which involves:

§   Financial statement analysis with ratios and trends 

§   Financial commentaries including company’s operating performance and metrics in conjunction with their relevance in different industries

§   Tracking news flows such as results, key announcement etc.

Able to manage business requirements from clients, allocate to resources efficiently and do quality check of the work done


§   Graduate or postgraduate, preferably an MBA in Finance
