Job Summary

Be a part of the offshore team supporting the analytics team of a global retailer. Develop an understanding of the client’s business environment and support them in the execution of their analytics strategies for loyalty, campaign management, product portfolio analysis and any other related dimensions for which need may arise. It is primarily a hands-on role with freedom to weave your own design, business understanding, and technology skill-sets together to build analytical solutions.

 Mandatory - Retail /Customer Analytics 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design dashboards (Tableau/ Power BI) from scratch to incorporate different views of their business dimensions
  • Drive discussions with client stakeholders to set up processes such as customer micro-segmentation, product category analysis, Market Basket Analysis, and customer loyalty related analytics work-streams
  • Hands-on application of statistical techniques such as regression, classification, clustering etc
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer data sets to build optimized SQL queries that can pull the right data and create tables to build relevant views for dashboards
  • Capabilities to automate dashboards, data pulls & workflows through thoughtful usage of scripting (such as python)
  • Demonstrated hunger and capabilities to work on statistical techniques and measurement KPIs & mechanics from time to time based on business requirements
  • Intrapreneurship and ability to mentor team members
  • Should be well versed and comfortable with SQL (advanced) and Excel (advanced)
  • Experience on large scale data modelling, dashboard design, development, and maintenance
  • Experience working with R/Python and ML models

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ experience in Business Analytics
  • Grad in Engineering or any other quantitative field

Additional Information

Basic exposure on AWS Redshift, Azure Data Bricks,  HIVE or any other big data platforms is an added advantage
