Job Description

Work Site: Seongnam City, South Korea (on-site)

Application Architect of the Company Sales Portal System is responsible for providing business analysis and system design to enhance the current system with developers and business users for established initiatives within a company. Application Architect will plan, establish, and manage information technology enhancement and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects. The role will primarily involve analyzing and evaluating systems. Devises system programs and related procedures to process data. Encodes, tests, debugs, troubleshoots, and collaborates with developers to enhance the Sales Portal System.

·         Conducting a thorough analysis of operational, technical, and systemic requirements and any required modification to maintain the engineering tools infrastructure

·         Gather essentials and process them for business needs

·         Generate related documentation (e.g. scope, objectives, requirements, schedule, and status)

·         Generate reports and charts to keep leadership and stakeholders appraised of progress

·         Works on different database management systems efficiently

·         For assigned enhancement, define and document scope, requirements, deliverables, and stakeholders and prepare high-level plans

·         Understanding SQL and information management best practices

·         Working closely with the customer and other engineers to ensure system requirements are met

·         Providing timely and accurate information and status updates to leadership, project sponsors, end users, and management

·         Responsible for the following: development of enhancement milestones, and schedules, tracking the design, development, and testing progress of the enhancement, documenting and tracking issues and risks, communication of enhancement status to management

 

Qualifications

·         Over 9 years of application architect or solution architect experience

·         Has business process analysis experience about sales and logistics experience based on SAP and web system experience a plus

·         Demonstrated experience and understanding of system development life cycle, dynamic of application development, and information technology practices and methods

·         Bachelor or Master's degree in IT and/or MIS or related technical field required

 

Preferred Skills

·         Strong business process-related analysis and consultation skills; ability to lead and guide clients

·         Knowledge of ERP Logistics and general logistics and supply chain-related processes

·         Working with Company Global Systems such as Next ERP/GSCM/WM preferred

·         Knowledge of Database modeling with Oracle, MS SQL preferred

·         Strong aptitude to work within deadlines both independently and as part of a team

·         Retail or E-commerce experience or an internship within e-commerce a plus
