Position Summary:

     The load planning position is responsible for daily system optimization of the Transportation Management System.  The position will require both internal and external communications to vendors and customers alike.  The load planner will also resolve day to day operational issues and report investigation outcomes to their affiliated communication channels.

Responsibilities:

      A business that performs physical movement of cargo using inland transportation to deliver the customer's cargo quickly and efficiently to the area requested by a customer

• 1 year of previous load planning experience managing regional or Hub operations.
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) required vlookups and pivot tables
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with customers and carriers
• Ability to Multitask
• Vendor Management
• TMS and WMS system experience
• Positive Attitude and Performance in team setting
• Prioritization, ability to shift one’s focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties
• Outbound Operations Report Creation
• Escalations / Reporting via Affiliated Operation channels
