Job Description

Sales Account Manager for enterprise technology sales, specific to Data Center (Servers, Storage, Network) products and services

  • Develop new customer portfolio
  • Manage and support accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting of existing/new portfolio of clients
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client, including C- level for mid-to-large accounts
  • Understand customers’ business and solution requirements to ensure satisfaction with our products/services
  • Identify, qualify, develop and close sales against established quota
  • Ensure/champion the timely and successful delivery of products/services according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to relevant stakeholders
  • Travel to customer sites to present solution/service as well as to maintain account integrity
  • Provide direction setting and communication for both project team and business partners and actively participates in cross-functional groups to solve problems

Qualifications

MUST have at least 5 years’ of current experience selling data center (servers, storage, network equipment) products in one of the following industries: Healthcare, Finance,  EDA-Semiconductor, Geophysical exploration, Bioinformatics, Engineering Analysis (or any other vertical relevant to HPC / AI) with current and active portfolio of customers

  • BS/BA degree or 10 years of experience in Engineering/Business/Information Technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Passionate self-starter and self-learner
  • Unless located in the Northern NJ area, WFH is available. Travel will not exceed 40%
  • Successful partner engagement experience with VARs, OEMs in the data center products/services
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, operations and cloud computing
  • Strong communication and collaboration with internal team, customers, vendors and delivery partners

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of HPC architecture including GPU/CPU computing, HPC clusters and software
  • Familiarity with ARM based computing (such as Fujitsu FX700)
  • Strong familiarity with the HPC industry and customers
