Job Description

This is a sales Representative position to sell High-Performance Computing (HPC) service to new customer.

Responsible for developing new business account and dealing with new service contract

  • Need to bring new customers for the short term business opportunity
  • Develop a long term sales pipeline and searches new business opportunity
  • Initiates and manages the engagement of prospective clients
  • Present HPC solutions in a professional manner to customer’s in-person, via email, and by phone.
  • Identify, qualify, develop and close HPC industry sales against quota.
  • Develop a sales plans & strategies, Identifying emerging industry market
  • Ensure the timely and successful post –sales delivery of HPC solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Travel to customer sites to present HPC solutions and services in  a professional manner
  • Set direction and communication for both project team and business partners and actively participate in cross-functional groups to solve problems.

Qualifications

  • BS or advanced degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in Engineering/Business/Information Technology
  • At least 10 years’ experience selling high tech, big-ticket products or solutions  with at least 5 years sales experience specifically in the high performance computing industry
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Passionate self-starter and self-learner with initiative and motivation
  • Ability to working out of a home office, travel 50%
  • Expertise using consultative solution selling and business development skills to align the client's business needs with the solution
  • Experience with Successful partner engagement
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills
  • Good understanding of infrastructure, operations and cloud computing

Strong communication and collaboration with internal team, customers, vendors and delivery partners

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of HPC architecture including GPU/CPU computing, HPC clusters and software
  • Relationships within Semiconductor EDA or oil & gas industries
  • Strong familiarity with the HPC industry and HPC customers
