Job Description
- Gather and analyze market information in order to identify new sales opportunities
- Contact prospects to identify appropriate contacts, evaluate, and drive leads through the sales pipeline
- Create sales opportunities with local dealers in order to increase sales and achieve sales targets for your assigned region
- As directed by the Sales Team, prospect and build a sales pipeline for the Sales Managers via outbound calling, email communications, and by initiating face-to-face appointments with Sales Managers
- Manage new inquiries from the HT’s website, incoming calls from potential customers requesting quotes, and other sales channels for your assigned geographical territory
- Assist Sales Manager during the negotiations process
- Identify and/or resolve customer issues
- Under the guidance of a Sales Manager, manage a small portfolio of current customers / accounts and close small deals
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, and trade shows, as directed
Secondary Responsibility – 40%
- Process and manage quotations/pricing, specification, revisions, production/delivery of equipment, and follow-up activities
- Act as a focal point for customer inquiries regarding billing, quotations, training, product delivery, and general customer service matters
- Build and maintain a strong collaborative and productive relationship with other departments including, but not limited to, warranty, logistics, production/QC, engineering, and accounting in order to quickly resolve customer’s issues
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Keeps Sales Manager informed of all sales activity
- Maintain accurate records of all customer contacts, business information, and sales activity
Miscellaneous – 10%
- Performing other duties, responsibilities, tasks, and/or projects as assigned by the Company
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in administration or related field
- 0-1 years of related work experience with Inside Sales
- Proficiency with MS Office programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A good attitude and ability to work in a team setting
- Able to sense urgency and know how to escalate for assistance
