• Ability to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• Perform in overall fields of systems architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
• Develop and deliver quality services/solutions using Javascript, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, No SQL, and a variety of other web technologies
• Maintain current technical knowledge to support shifting technology
• Candidate must be able to work with a minimal technical supervision and supplemental engineering support

• MS/BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 4-10 years overall experience in development
• Core competencies in JAVASCRIPT (node.js), C++, and/or Java
• Familiarity with scripting languages Ruby, Perl, or Python and other functional programming
• Expertise in building REST based reactive micro services platforms and understanding relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)/ NOSQL databases (rethinkDB, elastic, Apache Cassandra, MongoDB)
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed
• Strong track record of delivering high-performance writing, reliable and maintainable codes
• Expertise in Devops processes, tooling of deployment, monitoring, site reliability engineering, and managing applications in cloud
