West One Technology Ltd are a Strategic Partner to many of Europe’s Leading Consumer Electronic Companies, MNO's and Retailers

We are officially the WORLD's largest provider of Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) CE device Trade-In / Buy-Back systems, enabling over 500,000 points of sale across The UK, Europe, Africa, India and China to legitimise the purchasing of second-hand products.

We are trusted and work alongside Microsoft, Virgin Media and other well known customers.

We need a full time Systems Administrator to support the business with network, data and licence administration, including license server administration.

This is a critical role for our business, and therefore requires an individual that has the relevant experience and qualifications in system administration.

Duties will include

  • Maintain, facilitate, install, repair, administrate and monitor all aspects of IT & Networking, Remotely and On-Site at West One Technology Ltd
  • Work with clients for needs with regards to IT, be it in sale advice, technical support or development, via electronic communications or on-site visits
  • Perform Technical Advisory duties for on-site technical teams and individuals, relieving workload when necessary
  • Liaise between upper management and staff on projects requiring a more technical-managerial contact where needed
  • Introducing new computer systems into current setups for optimum IT functions
  • Troubleshooting IT systems when there is an issue reported by computer users

Qualifications required

Any of the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) 
  • Certificate courses in software, hardware and networking
  • Microsoft Systems Administration/System Engineer certification

Skills required

  • Adaptable to new technologies and implement them successfully
  • Effective hardware and software problem solving abilities
  • Maintaining the basic working of the system
  • Patience in working with users and management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Working hours for this position are 09:00 - 18:00 (40 Hours per week).

Salaries will be dependant on qualification and experience.

This position is based in Waltham Abbey (Essex).
