The IT Business Analyst is accountable for building and maintaining user requirements for systems across Warakirri Asset Management and its entities.  The role will seek out opportunities and problems where IT solutions could benefit the business or specific teams.

About your new job

This is a newly created IT Business Analyst position which will report to the Chief Technology Officer. We are open for someone on a Full-Time or 4 days a week arrangement. We offer a hybrid working environment with 2 days in the office and the remainder from home.The IT Business is responsible for establishing and maintaining user requirements for various systems. They actively identify opportunities and issues where IT solutions can enhance business operations or specific team functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct user requirements analysis through workshops, data/process analysis, and systems evaluation for diverse IT projects.
  • Document requirements, data/process models for utilization by subject matter experts, architects, developers, engineers, and external service providers.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, including test script creation, test result analysis, as part of effective change management.
  • Play a crucial role in system rollouts by aiding in the formulation of training plans and contributing to the development of training materials.

Qualifications

About you

  • A solid understanding of Information Systems principles, best practices, and emerging trends. Ideally have a bachelor degree in this or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Business Analysis, a certificate in this field is desirable.
  • Data, process and system modelling skills
  • You bring analytical thinking and problem solving mindset
  • Knowledge of project methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Experience in an ERP implementation would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience in the agriculture and/or finance space is desirable.
