Boolavilla is situated in Northern NSW round Croppa Creek - an area known as the Golden Triangle. Goondiwindi is 78km north of Boolavilla, while Moree is 66km south of the property.

There is a recently renovated family house available on farm, not far from the great community of Croppa Creek, which includes a public school and a local bowls club.

Job Description

What does a Farm Manager at Warakirri Cropping do?

  • As a leader of people and culture on the farm, you are responsible to ensure the wellbeing of your team and their families.
  • Alongside your farm management team, you are accountable for the day-to-day management of safety and performance of the farm. This encompasses management of Health and Safety, planning and executing operations and paddock plans, managing employees, working with contractors, and ensuring adherence to Warakirri policies and procedures.
  • Your role includes planning, preparing, and implementing annual cropping plans and budgets, covering all on farm activities.
  • You and your farm team actively participate in Local Grower Groups and support Agricultural Research and Development initiatives.
  • A crucial aspect of your role is to develop and implement farm and cropping quarterly strategy plans in collaboration with the farm team.
  • You are responsible for reporting and maintaining records on paddock operations, safety measures, and maintenance activities.

  • Experience working and leading teams in large-scale broadacre crop production and soil management.

  • You hold an MC Driver’s License or have the ability to obtain one.
  • You have a chemical users’ certificate or have the ability to obtain one.
