As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at WAES, you continuously ensure software solutions for critical business solutions are meeting the quality standards. You shield quality from the functional, the technical and the security perspective. Thanks to your thorough experience with automated software testing, you quickly identify the scenarios to cover along with the approaches and tools to obtain great quality in the most effective way. Being the authority of quality, you foster a continuous improvement mindset in your team and coach the other members in writing tests for their code. By doing so, you have a decisive impact on the quality and velocity of on-time and on-quality output of your team.

As the WAES Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you:

• work on long-term projects at highly dynamic and fast-pace WAES clients in the Netherlands
• become part of amazing engineering teams, always at the heart of the company’s IT departments
• design and execute end-to-end automation and manual test to ensure product quality
• foster and promote a continuous improvement development mindset
• have ownership of your own development to become the best you can be

The ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years hands-on professional experience with manual and automation testing of webapps
• Test automation and manual test experience for software components, services, data flows, data sources, interfaces and security features
• Experience working with continuous integration tools
• Thorough understanding of software development life cycle processes
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure
• Experience working in cross-functional teams according to Agile methodologies
• Advanced level of English (spoken and written)
