WAES stands for We Are Engineering Solutions. Founded only 3 years ago, with a mission to connect with global Software talent to work on the most innovative projects in the Netherlands. Our current business model is secondment of experienced Software professionals. However, we want to broaden our business model, and become an awesome Software company.

Right now, we are scaling up rapidly! In addition to the above-mentioned business model of secondment, we will add running software projects for clients, and software development for own future products, to the WAES-portfolio in the upcoming months. We will open our Amsterdam office in Q1 of 2019. These large ambitions come with large growth! We are planning to quadruple in size from 50 today to over 200 in 2020.

Meet the team
Our main challenge is to get around the table with prospects in a very competitive market; that’s why we need your creativity! In order to achieve this you will work closely together with:
Richelle, our 26-year-old creative sales lady who’s specialty is to think out of the box in order to bring in new clients and grow exisiting business.
Martijn, our 31-year-old sales pro who will do whatever it takes to grow our business as long as he can justify it in front of his three children.
Stijn, our 33-year-old cross-fit fanatic who’s heading our sales team and is responsible for ensuring that we have enough awesome projects for our consultants to work on.
You’ll also work with Bob, our 31-year-old CEO and founder of WAES. He is to the point & creative, and likes to punch the boxing ball in our office.
Why you will survive
As there is so much happening within WAES right now, you need to be a true team player. You will need a vast amount of entrepreneurism and instantly take ownership of your accounts. You are informal and to the point in your communication. You are an extravert with the right amount of self-confidence. You always see opportunities and chase them in all possible ways, but you always set the bar and stick to it when it comes to quality.
To be successful, you have at least a Bachelor Degree and over three years of experience in account management (consultative selling), preferably in secondment and/or consultancy. Obviously, you have great communication skills in both Dutch and English.
