Job Description

Responsibilities of a Production Engineer at VusionGroup:

  • Assuring product quality along the manufacturing process
  • Internal and external contact for manufacturing topics  
  • Continuous product and process improvement
  • Working on cost down projects
  • Avoid line stop or call-back actions due to non-conforming production processes / non-conforming products.
  • Creating work instructions and production specifications for electronic devices
    • Generate the Bill of Material
    • Specify product relevant items as e.g. type label, packaging 
  • Develop product specifc production processes in collaboration with the EMS
  • Support EMS at product specific automation solutions 
  • Monitor the production processes at EMS – production logs
  • Coordinate ESL reliability test at EMS  
  • Support at the implementation of the PLM SW.
  • Collaboration in the continuous improvement of product quality
  • Collaboration in the continuous improvement of production processes  

Qualifications

Education:

  • Technical degree in the field of electronics/communications engineering (HTL, FH, TU)

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company desired
  • Experience in production data management
  • Good understanding of test and manufacturing processes for electronic devices

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to travel
  • Independent and solution-oriented working style
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English in a business setting (verbal & written)

A minimum basic salary of EUR 3.077 gross per month for full-time employment applies to the advertised position with a willingness to pay depending on the actual qualifications.
