Job Description

  • Upsell within existing VusionGroup accounts under VusionGroup-Account Manager’s guidance.
  • Prospect new clients and manage new logo portfolio.
  • Monitor deployment of VusionGroup’s solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Handle RFP/tenders and (co) write and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product manager, Deal desk, Legal, Project management).
  • Build relationships with integrator/infrastructure providers.
  • Follow guidance on sales process and maintain sales data in Sales Force, and report on the information during sales meetings and QBR’s.
  • Engage in client events or trade shows.
  • Provide competitive insights to management and marketing teams.
  • Assist marketing in the development of business cases or communications / customer stories.
  • The BU-Account Manager enjoys a high degree of autonomy on strategy, mission and business travel.
  • The BU-Account Manager uses the tools made available to produce quotes. The BU-Account Manager is required to negotiate, alone within the limits of the delegation indicated by his/her line manager.
  • On accounts monitored by a VusionGroup-Account Manager, the BU-Account Manager actively collaborates with VusionGroup-Account Manager to define and implement the account strategy and follows the directives given by the VusionGroup-Account Manager.
  • Market awareness: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors ad emerging technologies.
  • Keep VusionGroup’s CRM updated with opportunity information

Qualifications

Experience: 

  • Successful experience (4+ years) as an Account Manager, preferably in Retail, Software as a Service, AI, or Computer vision.
  • Business Administration Master’s preferred.
  • A proven sales track record.
  • Familiarity with B-2-B technical sales cycle.
  • Knowledge of the Retail industry is a strong plus.
  • Self-motivated with excellent relationship-building skills across company levels.
  • Ability to identify solution value for the individual customers and transforming this into additional sales.
  • High level of personal drive and proactive work methods.
  • Possess ability to prioritization of the strategic tasks from customer and VusionGroup’s perspective.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and partners.

Education

  • Business Administration Master’s preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally with stakeholders
  • A lot of lobbying is required with a deep relationship work and field attendance
  • Effective time management to manage priorities
  • Hard negotiation with the retail industry
  • Good stress resistance
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English in a business setting (verbal & written)
  • Another major language is a plus
